Car Fire On Highway Causes Major Delays In Desoto

“At around 3-4’o’clock the Lancaster Fire Department received reports of an apartment fire and a car fire. Upon receiving reports of the car fire, Lancaster requested mutual aid from Desoto. Quickly after disregarding from the structure fire, Battalion 1, Truck 351, and Engine 352 self-assigned themselves to the car fire. Upon arrival, they found a fully involved vehicle, which was quickly extinguished.
