LANCASTER, TX — On August 11th, 2025, at approximately 6:21 PM, the Lancaster Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of Stewart Avenue for reports of a structure fire.
Lancaster Engine 353 arrived to find moderate fire conditions showing through the roof of a single-story, single-family residence. Battalion 1 quickly upgraded the incident to a second alarm after a neighboring home also became involved, prompting multiple mutual aid responses from surrounding cities.
Crews operated on scene for several hours, conducting aggressive fire attack and exposure protection. All occupants were accounted for, and no injuries were reported.
Later that night, fire crews returned to the same location when the fire rekindled in the early morning hours.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
