Fiery Plane Crash in Mesquite Takes the Life of One

On March 13th, 2025, at approximately 7:30am, Mesquite Fire and Police responded to the area of Cartwright and and Lawson for a reported plane crash. Upon arrival, heavy smoke was present and there was one plane in the wooded area on fire. There was one deceased person upon arrival. The cause of the crash is under investigation by FAA and NTSB.
