Lightning Strikes House in Highland Village

Around 10:30 PM, Highland Village firefighters were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Overlook Cir. Upon arrival, units reported heavy smoke and fire showing from a 2-story house and requested a second alarm. Firefighters from Flower Mound Fire Department (@iaff.local.3649), Lewisville Fire Department and Lake Cities Fire Department all responded to the scene to assist. The cause is believed to be a lightning strike.
