Small Fire Under Trailer Home

Trailer Fire – Grapevine, TX

Grapevine Fire Department responded to a small fire beneath a trailer home that prompted a full structure fire response. The incident occurred when smoke was reported coming from the underside of the trailer. Crews arrived quickly and found a smoldering fire beneath the structure. Firefighters had to cut open the bottom skirting of the trailer to ventilate and release trapped smoke. Though the fire was brought under control swiftly, the potential for spread and difficult access warranted a robust response.

Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Engine 4, Quint 5, Truck 1, Battalion 1, Medic 3, and Medic 5.

Quick action by crews prevented further damage to the home.
