Grapevine Firefighters Battle Wind Driven House Fire

South Grapevine House Fire - Just after 12:30 PM today, the Grapevine Fire Department was dispatched to a possible structure fire on the 4700 block of Glenbrooke Dr. Callers advised smoke and fire in the bedroom. Upon arrival, Battalion 1 observed a large volume of smoke from the second floor of a house and declared a working fire. The fire spread to the exterior chimney and the attic. High winds allowed the fire to evolve quickly. Firefighters were able to quickly gain control of the fire within 30 minutes.
