Vehicle Slams Into Fort Worth Firetruck Blocking Freeway

On November 1, 2025, at approximately 3:45 AM, Fort Worth fire department engine 14 was blocking lanes on Martin Luther King Jr Freeway due to a minor accident when engine 14 was struck by an inattentive driver. The crash is still being investigated, and injuries are unknown at this time. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol are a factor.UPDATE:A 24-year-old man driving the pickup truck that struck the Fort Worth Fire Engine was arrested on charges of Intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury. The Passenger in the pickup truck was critically injured. No Fire Department personnel were injured in this incident.
