Car slams into Waste Management garbage truck; minor injuries reported

A man sustained minor injures after crashing into the back of a Waste Management garbage truck in Golden Gate Estates. Earlier today, crews from North Collier Fire and Collier EMS responded to 3459 43rd Ave NE to the crash. Once on scene they found the driver of the vehicle sitting in a near by drive way. The man was not transported to the hospital, 43rd Ave NE was closed but has since reopened.
