Multi-vehicle accident blocks Joel Blvd in Lehigh Acres

3 people were injured after a crash blocked all lanes of Joel Blvd in Lehigh Acres. Lehigh Acres Fire responded to the intersection of East 17th St and Joel Blvd at approximately 3:30 PM. Once crews arrived on scene they found 3 vehicles damaged in the intersection. Two patients had to be extricated from their vehicles. All lanes of Joel Blvd were closed but have since reopened. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.
