Ambulance Crashes into Hospital after Driver Suffers Medical Emergency

DALLAS, Texas — A Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance was involved in a motor vehicle accident early Sunday morning at Dallas Regional Medical Center. Hospital personnel reported the crash shortly after 2:30 a.m. via DFR’s radio and advised dispatchers that the ambulance driver had suffered a seizure. Hospital staff also reported that a patient was on board the ambulance at the time of the incident. The condition of the driver, patient, and any other individuals involved was not immediately known. The incident remains under investigation.
